		<description>I agree with you both.  Doing it makes it easier to reach for the better thought I've found, without having to worry about visualizing anything specific.  I especially use that trick when I'm having a hard time letting go of the how.</description>

I like your technique of imagining the scale, I've done a variation of that myself. I believe you can manifest thoughts too, and when I do this kind of technique I feel like I'm calling the kinds of thoughts (prosperity vs lack for example) I want to have to me. 

Thanks also for mentioning Priya's post, it was a real revelation for me when I realized that happiness is a choice--I remember, with some amusement,
before that point wondering how the heck people were happy, how they got that way. It seemed such a mystery to me at the time. :)
